Rev. Dr. Ryan M. Tietz (-)


<p>The Rev. Ryan Tietz joined the Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana, faculty in 2015. He was born and raised in West Lafayette, Indiana. He earned his B.A. from Concordia University Nebraska, and his Master of Divinity degree and Master of Sacred Theology degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. He is currently a doctorate candidate at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, Illinois, examining the theme of the delay of salvation in the book of Isaiah. He is passionate about exploring and teaching the prophets, wisdom literature, Old Testament eschatology and Hebrew poetry</p>

<p>Tietz has served in multiple parish settings including as assistant pastor at Zion Lutheran Church, Schenectady, New York, as well as interim pastor in several congregations in the Chicago area. His teaching experience includes multiple courses in Theology and Hebrew as an adjunct instructor at Concordia University Chicago.</p>

 

He and his wife, Jeanine, have two children, Isaiah and Amaya.
